Day 1:
On our way to Banff National Park, we will stop for a voyageur canoe trip on the Bow River. Afternoon is free to explore or hike to favorite local vistas. We will be staying in one of the top Banff lodges – Buffalo Mountain Lodge.
Day 2:
We will join our guide for a hike through part of the largest and most beautiful mountain meadow system in the Canadian Rockies. Surrounded by the highest peaks in the Rockies, the views are phenomenal. Evening free to enjoy Banff.
Day 3:
Guided hike in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, then on to Yoho National Park taking a break to view stunning Lake Louise. Arrival in Emerald Lake this evening. Your home the next 3 nights is the beautiful Emerald Lake Lodge.
Day 4:
In Jasper National Park we continue to the Columbia Ice fields where we meet our guide for a private ice field walk on the glacier.
Day 5:
Morning tour to view Cambrian fossils at the Discovery Center. This afternoon, we’ll take an exciting Class III/IV whitewater trip on the Kicking Horse River.
Day 6:
Morning to relax before returning to Calgary for departures home or on to the next destination!
