This adventure takes you through Montana to experience two of the west’s wildest National Parks! You will explore the mystery of age-old glaciers, steaming geysers that have been erupting for centuries and the diverse flora and fauna that exist within these unique habitats.
5 nights of lodging: 2 nights inside each park at a historic lodge selected according to your interests. 1 night between the parks at your choice of a hot-springs resort, a working Montana ranch, bed and breakfast, or local hotel.- Pre-planned driving itineraries that suit your interests.

Day 1: Departing from Coeur d' Alene or Spokane, your chosen driving route will take you through Northern Idaho and across the border into Montana. You will be in glacier country with a dramatic mix of mountains and valleys carved out hundreds of years ago by ice. Your four hour drive will bring you to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. Your luxurious accommodations for the next two nights will be at a historic hunting lodge built inside the park in the early 1900’s. You will find this to be the perfect location for exploring the famed “Going to the Sun” road as well as numerous alpine lakes, waterfalls, and rivers. Your customized driving itinerary will incorporate all of the sights that you desire to visit..
Day 2: Let us arrange for you to view unreachable areas of this park by a private helicopter tour, hike with a botanist, or safari with local wilderness guides. You will be treated to some of the 15 active glaciers, gushing waterfalls-some falling as far at 1500 feet, and pristine lakes in colors you have never imagined possible. The photographic opportunities will be astounding in and around the mountain peaks and valleys of this most coveted wilderness area.
Day 3: Departing from Glacier National Park this morning, you will be driving through areas that are rich in history. There are ghost towns, old mining camps, museums, and Native American battlefields. Choose your destination for the night from our recommendations:

- An authentic, working Montana ranch
- A historic bed and breakfast
- A local full service hotel
Day 4: Today will find you arriving at your final destination, Yellowstone National Park. Within the 2.2 million acres of this park, you will find 10,000 thermal features, over 200 active geysers, and the largest concentration of free-roaming wildlife in the lower 48 states. You’ll be staying at a beautiful, historic log inn adjacent to the most famous geyser in the park for the next two nights. The natural beauty of this park will literally be at your doorstep.
Day 5: Today you may wish to explore the park on your own, or we can arrange for a guide to take you on a masterfully planned unique hike or photo safari. If you would like something different, we can arrange an educational, hands-on wildlife adventure which includes the actual tracking of wolves or grizzly bears.
Day 6: Today will be at your leisure until it is time return your rental vehicle at the Jackson Hole airport to catch your flight home.
