Day 1:
We will be taking a short flight to our rafting departure point, high in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho. Tonight we will be staying in a local hotel so that we can get an early start in the morning. We will be preparing our personal gear and our river experts will be with you this evening to additionally prepare you for the adventure.
Day 2:
After a hearty breakfast we will make our way to the launch site for the rafts. The first part of the trip will be very exciting as our entry point is 6000 feet above sea level and the river drops very rapidly through this narrow canyon.

Day 4/5:
We will traverse constantly changing scenery, from steep, narrow rock canyons, to lush forested mountains and through wide, expansive grasslands. The river is ever changing; sometimes rolling whitewater while at other times appearing to be crystal clear, shimmering pools. Each day there will be numerous stops to visit ancient Indian rock art sites, old miner and pioneer cabins, and hikes to areas rich in history and beauty. Late afternoons will always find us stopped to make camp; leaving you with plenty of time to explore with a walk, a little fishing time, relaxing in the afternoon sun, or soaking in thermal pools. The numerous hot springs are to be enjoyed – imagine soaking under the stars! Every detail of this experience will be looked after by our river guides, from setting up your well equipped camp sites to cooking and serving the finest food and wines. The last 2 days of this trip will provide you with a fitting end as we traverse Impassable Canyon, a narrow, granite-walled gorge of spectacular dimensions. The huge amount of water passing through this canyon will provide you with the biggest rapids of the journey…an unforgettable experience!
Day 5/6:
Once we reach our take out point, you may fly to Boise for your departure back home or spend the evening enjoying a farewell dinner, and a last opportunity to share memories and highlights of your adventure.
