Golf the Top 5 Courses near Coeur d’Alene

If you love the game of golf, you are going to be thrilled with our golf package for Spring/Summer of 2009.  Included in this fabulous vacation:

Day 1:
Arrive at Spokane Airport and pick up your rental car.  Your resort accommodations will be ready for you to check in when you arrive in Coeur d’Alene.  Spend the remainder of your day checking out the lake and downtown scene of this hip town.

Day 2:
Early tee-time for your 18-holes at Circling Raven. Circling Raven, a Gene Bates design golf course, is located on 620 wildly beautiful acres within the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation lands. This course was voted as one of the top 10 best new casino courses in America. This 18-hole beauty winds through natural wetlands, woodlands, and native Palouse grasses.

Later in the day golf Black Rock located on Rockford Bay, Lake Coeur d’Alene 20 minutes from Circling Raven. Black Rock’s Jim Engh-designed course was voted the Best New Course of 2003 by Golf Digest. This is genuinely a unique golf experience of dramatic cliffs, cavernous natural bunkers, sparkling lake panoramas with stunning curves and textures. The 7000 yards of rolling hills include a back 9 with waterfalls cascading over black rock cliffs and panoramic views of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Jim says that the best golf hole he ever designed was number 11 on this exclusive golf course.

Day 3:
Morning tee-off at The Hayden Lake Country Club which is a private, member owned club. This club opened in 1907 by the Spokane railroad as the Bonzanta Tavern, a retreat for the wealthy. The 6,030 yards of course are nestled along the shores of pristine Hayden Lake, originally the favorite gathering place of the CDA Indian tribe.  If this course is not available we will substitute the Coeur d’Alene Resort with its famous floating green.

This afternoon you will head around Lake Coeur d’Alene, near historic Harrison. Master golf course designer Tom Fazio has created Gozzer Ranch’s breathtaking 18-hole championship golf course with spectacular lake views. This 700 acre course, surrounded by basalt rock bluffs with dramatic spires and cliffs, is so well integrated into its surroundings; it looks like a natural part of the landscape. The 431 yard, par-5 hole 15 is Tom’s favorite, for its unimaginable views of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Day 4:
Return to Spokane for your flight home or add more golf!

Rates starting at $1899.00 per person based on double occupancy or $2350.00 single occupancy
These are hard sought after courses so contact TMI early.
