Pacific Northwest Culinary Expedition


This tour is excellent for small groups and is very flexible. Enjoy the finest wines and cuisine in Seattle and Portland along with some great urban tours and hands-on cooking classes.

Highlights include:

 2 nights accommodations in Seattle and 2 nights accommodations in Portland
 Scenic train travel between these two great cities
 Fabulous lunch and dinners as specified in the itinerary
 Local market or city tours in each city

Day 1: Meet at our host Seattle hotel by 1:00pm. We will enjoy lunch at a local hot spot and attend an afternoon wine tasting at a Washington wine-tasting room. Dinner this evening is at a local restaurant that will include wine pairing.

Day 2: Enjoy a morning Pike Place Market tour and then a cooking class. This afternoon we will take an urban tour including all of our favorite venues. Dinner tonight will be hosted by a local chef featuring their selection of local, regional foods enjoyed with local wines.

Day 3: Morning departure by train to the beautiful city of Portland. Check into our host hotel and meet for an afternoon “hands-on” cooking class at a chef’s studio. Evening dinner will be held at a local winery with touring and tasting.

Day 4: Morning walking culinary tour through the Pearl District. Lunch will be at a local restaurant known for its innovative cuisine. Dinner tonight will be enjoyed at a fabulous NW Portland restaurant.

Day 5: This morning you are on your own to explore Portland. We will enjoy a farewell lunch to say our good-byes before heading out for our return home.
